Firefighters wear flame-resistant and heat-resistant firefighting uniforms. Teijinconex®, an aramid fiber that boasts about 70% of the domestic firefighting uniform market share, is produced by Teijin Limited. The recycled aramid fiber (navy) used in the blankets produced by Teijin Frontier is made from waste and scraps generated during the manufacturing process of Teijinconex® through a method called “defibrillation.” This navy fiber is combined with flame-retardant acrylic fiber (white). The navy and white stripe pattern is actually a testament to the excellent flame resistance of the fabric.
A backing fabric made of recycled nylon 20D ripstop by Komatsu Matere Co., Ltd., a Japanese textile manufacturer, featuring a smooth texture reminiscent of silk. Its luxurious feel makes you want to wear it as a poncho all the time.
Snap closure poncho
When secured with the MORITO PLASMA10 resin snap, which has a heat resistance of 160 degrees, it transforms into a poncho that keeps you warm just by wearing it and wraps your entire body snugly.

The edges of the blanket feature a beautiful shaggy fringe finish.
