While searching for a durable, scratch-resistant wood for a camping table, We were captivated by the bright, natural color and beautiful grain of Iwate Prefecture’s oak. In this land, where forests cover 80% of the area, high-quality Japanese oak flourishes, and with it, we aim to craft a world-class table.
Tokunaga Woodworks
Founded in 1975, Tokunaga Woodworks in Iwate Prefecture has crafted wooden ceremonial items for shrines and traditional fittings for Japanese rooms. The current successor, following the late founder, has expanded to produce fittings for Japanese restaurants in Tokyo, the Kanto region, and internationally, including a Swiss restaurant and a London café. Tokunaga Woodworks LLC. now opens doors globally, carrying the legacy of Japanese craftsmanship into the future.

Custom hinges crafted from SUS304
The tabletop is connected by custom hinges crafted from SUS304 stainless steel, finished with barrel polishing. Its moderate weight ensures stable outdoor placement.
Special frame
The tabletop and frame are connected with SUS304 stainless steel, finished with barrel polishing. The sunsetclimax logo is laser-engraved on a single metal fitting.
