この度、毎年イタリアで開催される国際的なデザインコンペティション
A’ Design Award & Competition（エーダッシュデザインアワード＆コンペティション）にて
sunsetclimax オリジナルテント「 Cell01 」が、SILVER Award を
受賞した事をご報告いたします。
色々な関係者様達と試行錯誤して生み出されたこの作品が、国際的デザイン賞で評価を頂けた事は大変光栄であり、改めてご協力いただきました関係各位の皆様へ御礼を申し上げます。これからも「 記憶 」に残るアイテムを生み出し、皆様の生活の楽しみの一つになれる様日々進んでいきます。今後ともよろしくおねがいいたします。

sunsetclimax オリジナルテント Cell01 完成。（ 後編 – 製造編 ）

製品の制作について。
Let us explain about the manufacture of tent.
Cell01 のフレーム、幕本体の制作全てを担当いただいているのが、すでにリリース済みのカーミットチェアスカイブルーや、Dog cot の張り生地など制作いただいております、「 未来テクノ株式会社 」様です。
The Tent and poles of Cell01 are all produced by Mirai Techno Co., Ltd. They produce Kermit Chair Sky Blue and Dog cot as well, which has already been released.
未来テクノ株式会社様は、岩手県奥州市にて、自衛隊の装備品や海洋土木資材を製造しており、豊富な経験と技術で日本の縫製産業を支えています。
Mirai Techno manufactures equipment for the Self-Defense Forces and marine civil engineering materials in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture. They support Japan’s garment industry with our abundant experience and technology.
この度、Cell 01をデザインを実現する為に、試し張りをしては、まるで彫刻作品を作るかの様に、生地をつまみ固定し、綺麗な曲線になる様に、マーカーで試し張りをしているテントに直接ラインを描き、再度設計、生地を裁断、再縫製など、、何度も何度も何度も、、、
（十数回でしょうか、、）、試行錯誤を繰り返しこの美しいテントが完成しました。担当のS様はじめ、各担当者様には本当に本当にご苦労をおかけいたしました。
In order to realize the design of Cell 01, they tried stretching the fabric, pinching it and fixing it as if I was making a sculpture. They drew a line directly on the prototype with a marker to make a beautiful curve, re-designed it, cut the fabric, re-sewn it, etc. over and over again…
After repeated trial and error (perhaps a dozen times…), this beautiful tent was completed.
We would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. S, who was in charge, and all the other staff members for their hard work. Thank you!
縫製は少数精鋭の縫製職人が担当。シワの無い張り姿を実現する為の縫製技術が沢山詰まっております。
The sewing section is operated with a small number of elite craftsmen. It must be so many sewing techniques to achieve a wrinkle-free upholstery.
全てのCell01は、１点１点製造工場内にて試張りをし、「 全数検品 」にて品質チェックの上出荷となります。
All finished product of Cell01 are tested one by one in Mirai Techno manufacturing factory, and quality is checked through a “100% inspection” before shipping.
sunsetclimxの製品は、カーミットチェアのフレームを除き全て「 メイドインジャパン 」ですが、
その一番の醍醐味は、様々な担当の方や職人さんと「 密に直接コミュニケーションが取れる 」という所にあります。
今回のCell01もまさにそうで、完成までに色々な方との直接のやりとりの中で頂いたご意見を反映し、改良し、
最後の１作業まで製品の目指す所を関係者が共有する事で、より良い製品を生み出す事ができました。
sunsetclimx’s products are all “Made in Japan” ( except for the Kermit chair frame )
The worthy of a special mention is that we can communicate directly and closely with the various people in charge and craftsmen.
This is exactly same case with this Cell01, and we have made improvements based on the opinions we received through direct interaction from them before it was completed.
We were able to create a better product by sharing the goal of the product with everyone involved, right up to the finish product.
「 我々の場合は 」ですが、今回の様なプロセスを海外での製造をお願いするという事は、現実問題として中々難しいと感じていますし、
ぜひユーザー様にもその製品が生まれる背景を感じていただき、より愛着を持ってご愛用いただければ嬉しく思っております。
In our case, we feel that it would be quite difficult to request a process like this to be manufactured overseas. We would be happy if you, users could feel the background behind the process of Cell01 and use them with even more love.
まるで分裂する細胞の様に、Cell01が色々なフィールドに張られて、そしてユーザー様同士の繋がりも広がっていく。。そんな事を願っています。
We hope that Cell01 is spread out in various fields, and the connections between users are also expanding just like a cell.
■ 価格について
価格については、35～36万円（税抜き）くらいで収めたかったのですが、仕様を突き詰めていった結果、
また現在の世の中の物価高騰や世界情勢など、、、色々ございまして40万円（税抜き）での販売とさせていただきます。
簡単にご購入できない価格ではありますが、ぜひご検討ください。
■ About price
As for the price, we wanted to keep it at around 350,000 (excluding tax) though, we will be selling it for 400,000 yen (excluding tax) because of a result of looking into the specifications. Also, there are unexpected various factors such as the current situation in the world as well. We understood that the price cannot be easily purchased. We hope you welcome Cell 01.
■ 購入方法について
今回Cell01は、数量に限りはございますが、また応募数によって納期をいただく形となりますが、
ご予約を受け付けさせていただこうと考えています。

Cell01 has a limited quantity so it will depend on the number of applications.
We are thinking of accepting pre-order with advance payment for Cell01.
If our sunsetclimax fans knows that they can reliably purchase items, we strongly hope we can reduce some malicious buyers which do resale items with high price.
Although we are warning our users on social media, please refrain from purchasing if you are intending to resell.
Also, please do not purchase malicious resold items with high prices. We work hard and create sunsetclimax outdoor gears for those who really want to use ours.

すでにSNSや、イベント等でお披露目させていただいております、sunsetclimax オリジナルテント Cell01 が、いよいよ予約受付を開始いたします。
製品の詳しいスペックは、ホームページ及びShopページをご覧ください。ご予約を受け付けた方順に、製品が完成次第、順次デリバリーとなります。

Hi, there! We are very happy to announce that Cell 01 as our original design brand new tent is going to accept pre-order very soon! Please check the tent specification and details at website and sunsetclimax online shop. We are going to start the delivery after we received pre-order from you. We think the lead time from your pre-order to the shipment should be around 45 – 60 days for the first batch.
思い返せば、オリジナルテントを作ろうと思い立ったのは5,6年前だったかとおもいます。
1ポールテント、2ポールテント、ドーム型テント等々、、色々な方向性を検討してきまして、実際に試作品をつくってみたり、模型で検証したりと。。中々良い方向性が見出せないでおりました。でも諦めずにずーっと考えているとアイデアは出るもので、機能美を追求していく中、Cell01のイメージが湧き上がってきました。
It was so long time…about 5 – 6 years since we decided to make our original tent. We studied and considered about 1 pole tent, 2 poles tent and dome type and so on. We had tried so many types of tent. We made many models and prototypes though, we did not find the best tent which could satisfied ourselves. But, we kept trying to find beauty and utility of tent. Finally, we reached to Cell 01 design image.
テントのデザインについてずっと考えていたのは、居住性やテント内での快適性を確保しつつ、出来るだけ少ないフレームで簡単に組み立てられ、全体的に美しいフォルムである事。
美しいフォルムという事については、sunsetclimaxの製品では毎度追求している部分ですが、無理の無い自然な形状、いびつな部分がなく、例えば植物などの葉や茎などの自然で美しい曲線に加え、幕全体に張力ができるだけ均等に分散されていてシワなく美しい佇まい。。。そんな所を目指して来ました。
When we were studying about the design of our original tent, it must have comfort inside. It has to be easy to pitch it with minimum poles. Then, totally it must be beautiful shape.
We are always pursuing the design of beautiful shape for gears. Our ideal design is like a natural shape such as a plant. If tent does not have fabric wrinkle after pitch up, it must be so beautiful.
タープにも同じ事がいえるのですが、美しい形状は、例えば風に対しても受け流すといいますか、いなすといいますか、、機能的にも理にかなっているかなというのが実感としてあります。
We can say for sunsetclimax original tarps, we feel that a beautiful shape makes sense from a functional point of view, for example, it is able to ride of the wind. .
フォルム全体については、中央が高く、前後の出入り口側がすぼまった形状になっています。
室内中央は高さが約1.8mありましてユーザー様の身長によっては立つ事ができ、圧迫感のない空間を実現しています。
コットを使った場合、2名様推奨。1名様ではかなりゆったりしたサイズ感です。マット等の場合は、2名プラスお子様1〜2名でのご使用も可能なサイズ感です。
The overall shape is high in the center and narrow at the front and rear entrances.
The center of the room is approximately 1.8m high, allowing users to stand ( depending on their height) secure a space that does not feel oppressive.
The inside space is suitable for 2 cots. If you are solo camper, it is quite comfortable to use it. If you want to use camping mat without cot, family like 2 adults and 1 or 2 kids should be ok.
出入り口がすぼまった形状になっているのは、外から中が見えにくくプライバシーも保て、中から外の景色を見た時に、景色を美しく切り取る事が出来る、、などを意識しました。
これらの機能を実現する為に最低限必要な3本のフレームを融合。フレームは、A7075材という超々ジュラルミンとも呼ばれ、航空機、人工衛星、ロケットなどでも使われている、アルミ合金中最高クラスの強度を持つ材料の一つを採用。しなやかに曲がり、美しく強いフォルムを実現しています。
The narrow shape of the entrance makes it difficult to see inside from the outside so that it maintains privacy. And when looking at the scenery outside from inside, it is able to capture the scenery beautifully.
In order to realize these functions, it requires 3 poles at least.
The pole is made of A7075 material, also called extra super duralumin, which is also used in aircraft, satellites, rockets, etc.
We adopts one of the strongest materials among aluminum alloys. It bends flexibly, creating a beautiful and strong form.
また、中央フレームが通る通し布の下部分、２又にフレームが分かれている部分近くには、ベンチレーターを設けています。テントの美しさを損なわず、どこにベンチレーターを設けようか悩んでいたのですが、フレームを２又に分かれる事でフレーム構造自体の安定性を高めつつ、それに幕の形状も合わせる事でベンチレーターを設ける三角のスペースが生まれました。フレームが2又に別れる部分に設けられた円形の接続金具は、sunsetclimaxらしい？デザインになったと思います。
In addition, the lower part of a pole sleeve through poles, near the part of the forked pole has the ventilator. I was worried about where to install a ventilator without sacrificing the beauty of the tent, but I decided to split the frame into two parts to increase the stability of the frame structure itself, and also match the shape of the curtain to provide a ventilator window. It made a triangular space was created. We think it achieved this is sunsetclimax design.
これらを追求していった結果として、この独特なフォルムが誕生しました。
We finally created this Ce11 01 unique design and shape as sunsetclimax original tent.
幕素材について。今回採用した生地はCell01のために、東レコーテックス（株）、マスダ（株）、未来テクノ（株）、sunsetclimaxの４社で共同開発した、70デニールのリップストップナイロン。
表面はシリコン撥水加工、裏面は高耐久ウレタンコーティングで従来のテント用生地とは異なる発想で、加水分解が起きにくく、耐久性に優れた新素材の生地です。
（ 耐水圧2,000mm（JIS L 1092 A )、撥水等級3級、UV遮蔽率88%（UPF45＋）)
Regarding the tent fabric, it is adapted a 70-denier rip-stop nylon jointly developed by Toray Cortex Co., Ltd., Masuda Co., Ltd., Mirai Techno Co., Ltd., and Sunsetclimax specially for Cell 01.
The surface is treated with silicone water repellent and the back side is coated with highly durable urethane, which is a different idea from conventional tent fabrics. It is a new material that is resistant to hydrolysis and has excellent durability.
(Water pressure resistance 2,000mm (JIS L 1092 A), water repellency class 3, UV shielding rate 88% (UPF45+))
カラーは、sunsetclimax Tarpと同色に染められたフィールドで映えるエレガントなオフホワイトに。
室内は明るく爽やかな空間が広がります。夜はまるでテント自体が照明器具の様に見えるかも？
The color is an elegant off-white that stands out against the field. It is the same color as sunsetclimax Tarp. So, inside of Cell 01 is bright and refreshing. At night, the tent itself may look like a lighting fixture.
フォルムについて、何人かのお客様よりsakura cupを横にして半分に割った様に見えるので、意識されたのか？と聞かれる事があります。確かに似てますよね。。
Cell01のデザインは、機能的な事や美しさを追求していった結果としてのこの形状にたどり着いていまして、
sakura cupの方は、木の木目が最大限美しく表現出来る形状、かつ、手になじみ易く美しい形を追求した結果、現在の形に結果としてなっているのですが、自身の目指す機能美を追求していくと、どうしても形状が似てくる感がありまして、結果として似た雰囲気の形状になっております。。。デザイナーが同じなので、まあしかたがないですかね（笑）
About the shape, some customers commented that it looked like the side shot of Sakura Cup and split in half. Indeed. It certainly looks similar. .
The design of Cell01 arrived at this shape as a result of pursuing functionality and beauty. For the Sakura cup, we pursued a shape that could express the grain of the wood as beautifully as possible, as well as a beautiful shape that would fit easily in the hand. But we pursued the functional beauty that we were aiming for. As I continued to do so, I felt that the shapes started to become similar, and as a result, the shapes had a similar atmosphere. . . The same designer did the both. That’s why the both looks similar, we guess. lol
次に前後の出入り口についての説明を。
出入り口はダブル構造になっておりまして、内側はフルメッシュ（シングルファスナー）、外側はテント本体の幕と同じ生地（ダブルファスナー）になっております。
例えば外側を少し開けて、内側のメッシュは閉じて換気をしながら中で快適に過ごしたりと、、、様々な使用方法でお使いいただけます。綺麗に巻いていただき、付属のトグルとテント本体をくくりつけることも可能です。
それぞれ脱着も可能ですので、脱着した際は、テント本体のベンチレーター下にポケットがございますので、そちらに収納いただいても大丈夫です。
We will explain about the entrance structure.
The both of entrance has a double structure. The inside is full mesh (single zip), and the outside is made of the same fabric as of the tent itself (double zip). For example, it can be used in a variety of ways, such as opening the outside a little and closing the mesh inside to ventilate and stay comfortable inside. You can also roll it up neatly and attach the included toggle to the tent itself.Each item can be attached and detached, so when you remove it, there is a pocket under the ventilator of the tent body, so you can store it there.
フットプリントについて。
Cell01は専用のフットプリントが付属しています。
脱着式で、スタイルに合わせてフットプリント有り無しをお選びいただけます。
さらに片側は、靴脱ぎ場としての土間スペースを確保しています。これはプロトタイプを体感いただいた方に大変ご好評でした！
また、フットプリントをテント設営の位置決めの目安として、または、設営の際の汚れ軽減の為に設営前に敷いてご使用いただいても大丈夫です。→その場合は、最後のフットプリントを抜いて再度敷き直してください。
Footprint is included as well.
It is removable. So you can choose with or without a footprint to suit your style. Furthermore, we prepare a dirt floor space where you can take off your shoes. This was very well received by those who experienced the prototype!
You can also use the footprint as a guide for positioning when setting up a tent, or by laying it down before setting up to reduce dirt during setting up. →In that case, remove the last footprint and lay it again.
その他の付属パーツについて。
We prepare very rich accessories with Cell 01.
ガイロープは、Tarpでもお世話になっております、本橋テープ様の「TOUGHCORD 」をCell01特注仕様に。
ダークグレーベースにブラックのアクセントでクールに仕上げました。さらにリフレクター糸を織り込み夜間の視認性も高めております。
The guy rope is “TOUGHCORD” manufactured by Motohashi Tape, which is familiar to sunsetclimax original Tarp. It is custom made for Cell01. A cool finish with black accents on a dark gray base. Furthermore, reflective thread is woven into the fabric to improve visibility at night.
そして、sunsetclimax Tarpの為に開発した、そして唯一無二のSUS304材を使用したオリジナルスライダー、圧倒的存在感のあるPeg 300sに加え、Cell01の為に新たに開発した専用ペグをご用意しました。
制作は、sunsetclimaxの金属パーツ全般を制作いただだき、全信頼を寄せている国内ファクトリーが担当しています。
The original slider developed for the sunsetclimax Tarp, which is made of SUS304. And we prepare Peg 300s, which has an atmosphere of great presence. Furthermore, we also have a special peg newly developed for Cell01. Those metal accessories are manufactured by a Japanese factory that we trust completely.
テントフレーム、フットプリント、ペグについては専用ケースが付属します。
We prepare cases for the tent frame, footprint, and pegs.
テント全体を収納するケースにも拘りました。素材感は、sunsetclimax Tarpと揃えています。
We also paid special attention to the case that stores the entire tent. The material texture is the same as sunsetclimax Tarp.
重量は、全アイテムをまとめると約10Kgほど。。まあまあ重いです。。
ペグが全てステンレス材ですので、そこが重たい要因となっています。（後編に続く….）
The total weight including all of accessories is approximately 10kg. . It’s quite heavy. .
Metal accessories like pegs are made of stainless steel so that it earns some weight.
Peg 300s 再販。

長らく廃盤となっておりましたオリジナルペグ、Peg300s がこの度再販できる事となりました。
廃盤になってから他のペグを使ったり、改めてこのペグについて考えることも増えまして、、、
見た目のインパクトだけではなく、タープをしっかりと地面に固定でき、安全安心にキャンプを楽しむ事ができるペグだなあと、、再認識した事もあり、なんとか再販したい！という想いで再販に向けて進めて参りました。
価格はほかのペグに比べとても高価なペグではありますが、実際に手にしていただけたら、納得いただける品質。そして何よりも安心してタープの下でお過ごしいただけると思います。

以前は10本入りで専用ケースが付属していましたが、
物価高騰や、生産工場の事情の為以前よりも価格が上がってしまった事もありまして、皆様に少しでもご購入しやすい様にと、１本ずつご購入いただける形にいたしました。
ロゴのレーザーマーキングも、生産工場が変わった関係で少し褐色色のロゴに。これはこれで素敵かと。
面取りなど、仕上げの精度もさらに美しくなりました。
ケースについては、私も普段から使っていますが、市販のスチール製のツールボックスなどに収納いただけると便利かと思います。
また、9mmのステンレス板よりレーザーカットする際に、一部焼き跡が残る事がありますが、品質には問題ございませんので、ご理解の程ご検討ください。

During Peg 300s was not available, we had used other pegs instead of Peg 300s. It was time to think which is the best peg for sunsetclimax tarp.
It is not only massive looks of product, but also it works to fix into the ground.
We recognized Peg 300s is perfect one for pitching a tarp without worries so that we can enjoy camping. This is time for us to find a way to produce Peg 300s again!
Yes, we know it is more expensive than other one.
We hope you know the quality of it once you use it. I definitely recommend you to use for sunsetclimax tarp.
It used to set 10 pcs with sunsetclimax original case but
We are going to sell a piece by piece so you can choose minimum quantity which you need.
Find laser logo marking which is slightly colored due to switching a factory. I think it is nice.
Look at finishing edges and so on. It is beautiful.
If you need a case, we recommend a kind of steel tool box I use as well.
Please understand you may find some burnet area because the 9mm thickness stainless board was cut by laser. Don’t worry that it does not affect to product quality.

11月初旬に開催されたsunsetclimax tarp owners meeting、
scene3-Mt.FUJI CAMP RESORT の 様子を記録したムービーが完成いたしました。

SCENE-3 in Mt.FUJI CAMP RESORT
今回、３回目となるイベントですが、前回までに比べ規模も拡大しまして
色々と行き届かなかった所多くあったかと思いますが、参加者皆様のおかげで無事終える事ができました。
また、リアルにユーザー様と直接お話させて頂けた事も我々にとってとても貴重な時間でした。本当にありがとうございました。
今後、より良いミーティングにして参りますので、次回も是非起こしください。

Sakura cup デビューします。

みなさんこんにちは !
すでにSNSで露出していますが、この度 Sakura cup をリリースする事となりました。
2020年初旬に生産を終了した、「 jisugi cup 」の後、沢山の再販を希望される皆様よりのご連絡を頂きながら、なにかしら別の形での再販を模索してまりました。
全国の色々な材やカップを製造加工してくださる所を探して色々と検討をしてまいりましたが、この度、栃木産の「山桜」を使った Sakura cup を販売する運びとなりました！
桜、、、。みさん好きですよね。。私も大好きです。
桜の木をカップなどにわざわざ使うの？？と思われる方もいらっしゃると思います。
今回カップとして使う桜は、色々な事情により伐採を余儀なくされる桜が稀に出るのですが、その材を使う事で、材を有効に使用する事を目指しています。
今回、カップの製造を担当頂くのは、
栃木県は創業72年の実績を誇る「 星野工業株式会社 」様にてお願いできる事となりました。
星野工業がある栃木県鹿沼のの歴史は、日光東照宮造営のため全国各地から集まった宮大工や建具職人がその技術を伝承したのが始まりと伝えられています。高度な木工技術の優秀さは現在においても 受け継がれ、 良質の木材が切り出され高度な木工技術により全国的にも有数の木工産業の地です。家具、建具、木製品などあらゆる木工製品に対応できる住宅関連産業の一大生産地として発展を続けています。星野工業は、「循環する持続可能な社会」を目指し、志し高く木工産業に取り組まれている企業です。
また今回、Sakura cupをリリースするにあたり、再度ディテイルの形状を見直しまして、星野工業の高い技術によりより美しく、より繊細な形状が実現。
製造の現場を少しご覧いただきます。
荒削りされたカップの材を手作業にて1点づつ仕上げています。
何度も微調整を繰り返しながら理想の形を追求。
紐を通す穴も美しく加工頂いております！
仕上げには認可を受けたウレタン塗装でよりな滑らかなな質感に。
とても満足のいく仕上がりとなりました。
今回カップとして使う桜は、先にお伝えした通り色々な事情により伐採を余儀なくされる桜が稀に出る材という事で、ゆえに１回に生産出来る数量が少ないのですが、継続して製造して参りますので、長い目でご注目いただけますと幸いです。
発売は ８月 １日 より。

Since Jisugi cup was finished in 2020, we receive many requirements that it comes back in stock. So, we have been searching another way.
We are finding some workshops which can produce and trying so many kinds of wood for our wooden cup. Finally, we can make “Sakura cup” is made of “Yamazakura” in Tochigi!
You like Sakura, don’t you? I love it.

Hoshino Industrial Co., Ltd. in Kanuma, Tochigi
Skilled carpenters and craftsmen were called to build Nikko Toshogu shrine which is now very popular as a World Heritage site and their skills have taken root in Kanuma, Tochigi. Hoshino industrial has been challenging environmental issues since 1945. They are passing on Japanese tradition and accurate knowledge about wood to the next generation.
Hoshino Industrial has so high technique makes a shape of Sakura cap more beautiful with details.

We use Sakura as raw material which is cut down for some reason so that it is rare. Therefore, Sakura cup is a kind of a limited quantity. But we are trying to continue our production for everyone who wants to have it. I appreciate your patience.
